How To Create A Facebook Business Page In 7 Easy Steps

Hello thank you for dropping by on my page,

Im Cha Montero, kindly like my page,, because i will be sharing tips, techniques , strategies to help you with your online business..

ok lets start!

Facebook can be a great place to network and build up a customer base for a lot of businesses – whether you’re small, family owned, just starting out, or a mega-giant company that has hundreds, or even thousands, of employees. So many people use Facebook now, that you are probably surprised when you find someone who actually doesn’t have an account.
Now, for all the time you might spend on Facebook, you may never have actually taken the time to create, or look into creating, a Facebook page for your company. Where do you start? Well, here’s a tutorial to take you through how to create a facebook business page for your company.

Starting Your Facebook Page
A list of options will drop down below the gear . You want to click on “create page.” This will lead you to another page that should look like this:

As you can see, there are two different choices for creating a business page. You can create a local business page, or a company page. There are, of course, other choices, but for now, we’ll focus on these two. I’ll show you how to create a local business page, and then tell you how to deal with the small differences the organization or institution page setup has.

Creating a Local Business Page
We’ll begin with the local business page. Click on the button and fill out the information. It should look something similar to this:

This should lead you to the “about.”

The About

Fill out the basic information and click on “save info.” If you have to close the webpage at this time, your page is already created and you can go back and edit the page at any time. Simply go up to the little gear icon again, and the drop down will have a link to your new page.

Profile
At this point it will offer to let you add a profile picture to your page. You can either upload an image from your computer, or import one from your website. I’m going to upload one to from my computer. Try not to choose an image too large, as Facebook might reject it if it’s too big. It can only be a minimum of 180×180 pixels, and Facebook will display it as 160×160 pixels.

Favorites
The next page will offer to add your page to your Facebook favorites. By agreeing to add it to favorites, it should show up on the main Facebook page in the bar to the left.

I’ve outlined the page link in red to make it easier to spot. This link leads directly to your page and you can edit your page from there at any time. However, we’ll click “add to favorites” and then “next” to move on with the setup.

Reach
This page is solely for the paid “promote” tool on Facebook. If you’re just starting a page, I suggest not using this until you’ve had much more experience with Facebook pages. Chances are, your natural/organic reach will be suitable for now. We’re going to skip this part and move on to viewing the newly created page.

The New Page
And here is what our newly created page looks like. The top left box is for notifications, such as, if someone decides to like or comment on your new page. The next box on the top row is the instant messages box. Any messages people send you will show up in this box.
The box in the row beneath that is the “promote” box, which not only allows you to promote your page, but also allows you to do progressively more things with your page as your number of page followers increases. The “insights” box allows you to see what the trends are on the number of people visiting, liking, or commenting on your page. In the “invite friends” box, you can click on any Facebook friends with whom you wish to share your new page.

More In-Depth “About”
If you scroll down your new page, you will find a gray box beneath your profile picture with the basic information that you entered into your previous “about.” Click on it. It will take you to your “about” information. By moving your mouse arrow over the different sections of information, you can update or change them as you need, making them as specific as you feel necessary.

Cover Photo

No page is complete without a cover photo. Click your back button from the “about” and go back up to where you can see your profile image. Click on the “add cover” box, which I’ve highlighted in red, and indicated with an arrow, and upload a new cover photo. Move it so that it fits your preferences, and then click “done.”

Congratulations!
You have completed the basic setup of your new local business page! Click on the “Update Page Info” to change your information, or click on the “Admin Panel” to add other administrators or moderators to your page. Click around your new page and figure out all the ins and outs of it so that you can get started posting on your new page, and bringing in new clients.

If you want to change back to your normal account, go back up to the little gear that we clicked on at first to make the account and switch back to your normal account. Ta-Da! You’re done!
Creating an Organization Page
If you want to make an organization or institution page, instead of a local business page, go back to the original page, and click, instead, on the “Business, Organization, or Institution” button.
